For those who treasure privacy, serenity, and magnificent homes, coupled with a multiplicity of high-end amenities only found in elite sizable communities, there are precious few options. And, further, if close proximity (a 10-minute drive) to the renowned shopping and dining of downtown Naples is added to the wish list, the options are approximately zero. That is, until now.
The Landings is a world-class ten-acre gated community of 24 magnificent homes, ideally located on the Gordon River (about 40 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico). While the river itself affords ample fishing opportunities, the fishing in The Gulf is, of course, legendary. Bordering the west side of The Landings is Greenway park, a pristine sanctuary with private keyed, paved walking paths for homeowners.
The community is adjacent to the exclusive Bear’s Paw Country Club, to which all homeowners receive automatic membership. The club offers a signature Jack Nicklaus 18-hole golf course, a state-of-the-art fitness center, four Har-Tru lighted tennis courts, a soon to be completed clubhouse, a beautifully appointed dining area, private dining rooms, and an outdoor bar with a dining terrace, offering the finest quality service and food. Other amenities include 2 bocce courts and a pickleball court.
Additionally, the clubhouse will offer a vast array of social activities, clubs, and events where you can indulge your hobby (or pick up a new one), enjoy a cocktail party, a trivia contest, and even an occasional dance night with live music.
The golf course is open only to members and their guests. While most other golf clubs in the area have as many as 800 to a thousand memberships available, the Bear’s Paw Club has a strict limit of 327 membership slots, assuring far easier access for booking a tee time for the hour and day desired. Members can keep their handicap up at the practice range, putting, and chipping facilities.
Buyers have a choice of waterfront or golf course estates. The waterfront homes offer the opportunity for a private dock off to the side of your private pool deck. The golf course homes while affording a lush vista of the perfectly manicured fairway, offer the opportunity to purchase a slip in the community dock, just steps away from your home.
Of the 24 homes originally offered, only three remain unsold (2 golf course and one waterfront home). While 2 of the homesites are in preconstruction, one of the golf course homes will be completed within 2-3 weeks. The other two will be completed in about a year.
All three of the remaining homes will offer high ceilings (12 to 22 feet), open concept great rooms, pocket slider doors, Legno Bastone white oak plank flooring, custom cabinets, quartz countertops, Thermador appliances, and custom tile designs in each bathroom, and swimming pools with decks.
The only remaining private dock home offers the option of an elevator. This estate contains a fireplace, wet bar, and temperature controlled frameless glass wine display. Also included are cutting edge, top of the line Sub-Zero/Wolf appliances This site plan also offers a fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and private spa in addition to the pool.
The homes range from 3 bedrooms/4 baths plus den, to 4 bedrooms/7 baths. The square footage ranges from about 4,000 to 6,500 square feet (total area) per home.
Prices range from $1,900,000 to $2,750,000.
Fees:
Bear’s Paw Country Club membership is mandatory with an initial one-time fee of $4,500 and an annual recurring fee of about $5,400. This entitles the member unlimited use of all the facilities, and unlimited use of the golf course from May through October. The remaining 6 months (high season), golf opportunities are limited to twice a month.
Full time golf membership offers unlimited use year-round. There is a one-time fee of $40,000 plus $12,500 per year.
The cost of an optional private slip for the golf course homes at the community dock is $40,000. The cost of the private dock for the waterfront homes on your property edge is $20,000.
HOA fees are about $2,100 a quarter and includes common area charges, landscaping, guard gates, mulch, personal lawn care, and pool maintenance.
