Bonita Bay is a 2,400 acre master planned, gated golf community in sunny Bonita Springs, Florida. This member owned community has several membership levels to offer, including tennis, golf and house. Bonita Bay offers five championship golf courses that were designed by Arthur Hills and Tom Fazio, two legendary architects. The three courses designed by Arthur Hills reside around the West Club, while the two designed by Tom Fazio reside around the off- site East Club.
West Club Courses have had a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary status since 1995
Marsh – weaves through palmettos, oak trees and natural wetlands Creekside – offers broad fairways, limited carries, moguls, bunkering, and some rolling hills. Bay Island – features stands of oak and cypress, sand traps, water hazards and is the most challenging of the five courses. East Club Courses were designated as the world’s first private 36 hole Audubon International Signature Sanctuary in 1999. Cypress – has spacious fairways, natural bunkering, closing holes and is the longest of the five courses. Sabal – offers distinctive bunkering, greens, rolling fairways and hundreds of sabal palms on the site.
The 10,000 square foot fitness center and spa offers 34 Life Fitness cardio workout stations, each with its own TV monitor, a full range of classes, licensed Athletic Trainers, Personal Trainers, as well as licensed Estheticians and Massage Therapists. Also available to residents is a heated lap sized swimming pool with cabana and dressing rooms. The tennis center has 18 Har Tru courts, 13 are lit for night play, and is the only club in the country that has two US Professional Tennis Association Master Professionals.
The Beach Park is a short drive from Bonita Bay and offers residents an attended station, picnic pavilions, beach chairs, showers, restrooms, and a gazebo.
The Bonita Bay Marina features easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, Estero Bay and Imperial River with 90 wet slips in three sizes and three buildings house 330 dry slips for boats up to 36 feet. The Marina also offers fuel, a bait shop, service showers, dressing facilities, and a fully stocked ship store.
